Welcome to the start of another school year!

Introduction

Welcome to my Science website.  I, Mr. Wilkosz, created it to connect to parents and students, and make life in my classroom a little easier for all.  Here you should find a classroom calendar with upcoming due dates, my contact information, videos and documents to assist with student learning, as well as class policies and other useful information. 

About Me

My name is Mr. Wilkosz and I am a newer teacher here at McCormick.  I  love science and the way it teaches you everything in the universe!  I also love the fact that there is still a lot to be discovered.  I find it neat that for every answer you obtain you open the door for an all new question. 

Aside from academics I am a huge sports fan.  I actively play volleyball, golf, and basketball.  I am a Browns and Buckeyes fan through and through as well. I also have a passion for hunting and fishing.  In the summers you can find me on the lake searching for schools of walleye and perch .   Late summer into fall I am preparing and participating in the deer hunting seasons. 

In my classroom I try hard to relate the material to everyday experiences, that the kids can relate to.  I really like a good hands on lab, or project.  I hope to create an environment that students and parents feel comfortable communicating.  I am available everyday after school hours to help students with work.  I am available during our intervention period, and I have contact information on this site and the school site.
